Sometimes you are able to see red deer, foxes, badgers and an abundance of resident and migrant birds are often seen. This tranquil setting is an ideal base to explore the delights of this beautiful part of Devon. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead, as this is a farm. It is only a short drive from the towns of Dulverton and Tiverton. Bampton is just 5 miles and offers the ’Bampton Town Trail’ which is a walk that takes you around the town, and introduces you to historic sites and buildings. Lynton & Lynmouth are two adjacent villages with Lynton being a Victorian resort, 600ft above Lynmouth and being linked by a water powered cliff railway. Lynmouth lies at an estuary where the East and West Lyn meet.
